A Homage booklet to the original book "The Extreme Present" by Douglas Coupland, Hans Ulrich, and Shumon Bazaar
The booklet addresses the complex reality of our world, which is becoming increasingly extreme. Everything changes rapidly. For example, language used to consist of hieroglyphs, but letters and words were developed to make communication clearer. Today, we use stickers and emojis to communicate even faster, but in doing so, we have reverted to a form of hieroglyphs. This lack of understanding and coordination has made our communication to miss communication.
People strive for quick and easy solutions, and artificial intelligence is a prime example of this. The way we interact with AI and witness its increasing influence over our lives reflects what our future may hold.
